D’Arcy Ryan Joins PEP

The Patient Experience Project (PEP) has announced the addition of D’Arcy Ryan to its staff. Ryan joins PEP as a group account director, bringing with her more than 25 years of experience in advertising and marketing.

Before joining PEP, she worked as a strategy consultant at Michaels Wilder, a national marketing agency. In this role, she provided strategic direction and planning for business to business and business to client accounts, with a focus on digital strategy. Previously, she served as a vice president, account director for GSW Worldwide in Westerville, Ohio, where she held an integrated marketing network leadership role with Eli Lilly Diabetes products, including management of Lilly Diabetes’ portfolio account (US and global), Humalog Payer Marketing, and Trulicity launch and postlaunch (US and global). Additionally, Ryan was a longtime marketing director at Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Deerfield, Illinois, where she managed brand portfolios in the diabetes and cardiovascular therapeutic areas.

“D’Arcy has extensive pharmaceutical marketing and advertising agency experience and tremendous skills in leading cross-functional teams,” explained Dan Bobear, president and founder of PEP. “She understands the business better than most and is thoughtful in how she approaches every aspect of her job.”

Ryan earned a bachelor’s degree in business administration from the University of Wisconsin in Madison and her master’s degree in business administration from Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management in Evanston, Illinois. She is currently pursuing certification in digital marketing from the University of Illinois. Ryan was honored as a Woman of the Year in 2006 by the Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association. Additionally, she has volunteered her time in support of the American Diabetes Association, having served on committees on the state and local levels.
