Patient Experience Project Earns National Accolades for Business Growth & Unique Agency Model

PEP named to Inc. 5000 Fasting Growing Private Companies List and MM&M Top 100

The Patient Experience Project (PEP), a patient-centric communications firm operating from Saratoga Springs, continues to earn nationwide business and industry accolades for its unique approach to improving the state of healthcare. In addition to solidifying its spot on the prestigious Top 100 list of best healthcare marketing agencies as ranked by MM&M (Medical Marketing & Media) earlier this year, PEP has been ranked on Inc. magazine’s annual list of the 5,000 fastest-growing private companies in America for the second year in a row.

PEP, which was ranked 1007/5000, is among 16 Capital Region companies on the list, second to only Darn Good Yarn, which was ranked at 558. Recognition in the Inc. listing, which analyzed 2017 revenue, further showcases the agency’s year-over-year growth as it specializes in working with patient communities to create communication programs and content for life science and healthcare companies.

PEP anticipates an even stronger 2018, now that the firm is part of a global life science services platform, owned by Water Street Healthcare Partners, a strategic investor focused exclusively on the healthcare industry, and JLL Partners, a leading middle-market private equity firm.

“I’m proud of the team we have here at PEP and the terrific work we do for our clients every day. Our growth can be attributed to our unique approach to creating successful programs and content by giving patients and caregivers a seat at the table and a voice in the process. Our recent decision to join forces with a global life sciences platform will provide us with even more opportunities to expand our services and advance our mission of improving the patient experience,”  said Dan Bobear, PEP president and founder.

PEP, which had four employees during its first year of operation in 2012, now works with a service platform of more than 1,600 employees, working from more than 20 locations around the world.
